Education through musical play

 Sound Beginnings is a family music class that prepares students for success in Let’s Play Music and Kindergarten. Classes include singing, movement, instrument play, nursery rhymes, games, stories, and ear training activities.  Classes are an action-packed 30 minutes once a week over the course of a 15 week semester.  Care-takers attend each week with their child.

Cost for a Sound Beginnings semester is $200 plus a materials fee.  Additional children in the same family can be added for only $50 more per child.  Materials include our full semester album, a student workbook with both in-class and at-home extention activites, a tote bag and a semester rhythm instrument.

All classes are held in Maggie's home studio in East Lansing.
